Library

Single Image Interior Pages

A beacon of learning, research and innovation, the Library is housed in The Landi Media Arts (LMA) Center. Serving to guide students, faculty and parents, the Library staff and collections reside in a state-of-the-art facility endowed with one of the most extensive academic collections in Southwest Florida.

Designed by Architect Frank L. Neubek, a former CSN parent and Trustee, the LMA garnered an outstanding award from the American School & University Architectural Portfolio competition for a specialized facility. Featuring 31,000 square feet of space, the LMA encompasses an innovative two-level library, computer labs and classrooms. Computers offer students tools to accomplish their research and project goals. A knowledgeable staff is accessible to instruct and guide students of all ages.

On any given day, the Library is a hub of activity, equally accessible from all points of campus and utilized by each and every student on a weekly, if not daily, basis.

A lakeside setting adds the element of tranquility, befitting a library atmosphere, while the outdoor lakeside plaza offers space for social gatherings with a view of nature.

Carrels, tables, and chairs provide space for private study and collaborative learning areas. A vividly decorated Storybook Forest inspires young readers with a story stage and tabletop creative space.
