Welcome to Community School of Naples (CSN) Athletics!

CSN’s Athletic department is committed to “Excellence” and believes leadership and character development are the foundation of athletics.  Wins and losses in athletics leads to success in life!  Our aim is to match “Athletic Excellence with Academic Excellence” and “Forge global citizen leaders of tomorrow through rigorous athletic competition today.”  Athletic competition provides our students the opportunity to hone leadership skills, test character, and elevate confidence as they strive for “Team Excellence” while they experience personal growth.  Our coaches embrace the concept of winning with teamwork, leadership, respect, integrity and work ethic on and off the field.  In fact, this past year—10 teams were crowned District Champions or Runner-up; in addition, 7 teams went on to Region competition, 2 of them reached the Region Finals and Boys Track & Field placed 5th at State! Individual successes mirrored our team honors as 5 student-athletes were crowned Naples Daily News “Prep Athlete of the Week;” while 5 student-athletes were selected as “Top 3 Finalists” at the Southwest Florida Sports Awards.  In addition, CSN had 47 student-athletes earn either 1st Team, 2nd Team, 3rd Team or Honorable Mention honors in All-Area competition; and we witnessed 9 new CSN records in Swimming & Diving and Track & Field!

This past May, we celebrated our Middle School (MS) athletic program which included honoring 63 MS students that earned either a JV or Varsity roster slot.  Once again, we enjoyed an 80% athletic participation rate for Upper School (US) students on Junior Varsity and Varsity rosters and 76% MS students on a MS team.  Here are some amazing results:  29 MS student earned a 3.0 GPA or higher and played on 3 or more teams this year! 37% of Seniors earned a 3.75 GPA or higher and earned multiple Varsity letters!  16% of Seniors signed National Letters of Intent to NCAA Colleges nation-wide!  Since 2015—CSN has averaged 13% Student Athletes who transition to NCAA Institutions to continue their athletic careers and produced 2 Collier County Winged Foot Winners!  Since 2016—CSN produced 7 Individual State Champions in Track & Field and Swimming and 169 All-State or All-Area selectees + 3 All-Americans!

The above mentioned results illustrate our commitment to faculty, parents and students and the true holistic value of athletics as it relates to higher education and success in life.  Moving the needle with respect to college admissions and leveraging athletics to better balance our student resumes remains essential to CSN!  All this success doesn’t happen without the dedication and support our student-athletes continue to receive from CSN Leadership, faculty, coaches, family and friends.  Again, welcome to CSN Athletics and our proud heritage of “Excellence.”
