Admissions Process for Grades 6-12
Community School of Naples, an independent, college preparatory day school, is driven by our commitment to excellence in teaching and learning and shaped by our spirit of community and collaboration. Our faculty also works as a team to meet the needs of students as individual learners and to stimulate a lifelong love of learning. Admissions for sixth through twelfth grade is a selective system dependent upon prior school records, teacher recommendations, evaluation of a student’s campus visit, and scoring on CSN assessments.
Submit a completed application form with a non-refundable $100 application fee, one recent photo, and one copy of the student’s birth certificate.
Applicants grades 6-12 must complete the ISEE exam by either registering online at www.erblearn.org or by calling (800)-446-0320 or (919)-956-8524. In order for CSN to process applications, it is required that scores be sent directly to CSN. Please be sure to indicate CSN as a school recipient during the registration process using school code 101206.
Submit the Request for Release of Student Records form to your child’s school. These documents must be sent directly from your child’s current school to the CSN Admissions Office no earlier than November 14. (Depending on your child’s grade, CSN requires the current grade to date, as well as the past 2 years of transcripts and testing results.)
Submit the Math Teacher Recommendation and English Teacher Recommendation forms to your child’s school and request it be mailed directly to the CSN Admissions Office prior to your child’s visit to CSN for his or her assessment.
Arrange a “Visit Day” with the Admissions Office for your child to visit the campus.
