Mr. Chad Ott - Head Baseball Coach
Coach Chad N. Ott starts his 12th year overall (fifth as Head Coach) coaching baseball at Community School of Naples (CSN). In addition to coaching baseball at CSN, Chad coached for 10 years in Greater Naples Little League—and was president of the League for five years. He also has coached Middle School and Junior Varsity football at CSN.
CSN teams won District Championships in 2009 and 2010. The team has consistently challenged for District and Region championships during his tenure. Coach Ott played a major role in developing players that went to the next level and had productive college baseball careers including Flagler, Haverford, MIT, NYU, and Yale.
Chad Ott is co-founder and principal of Falcon Capital Management, a Naples investment management firm. Prior to founding Falcon Capital Management, Coach Ott was a nine-year employee of Electronic Data Systems Corporation. Coach Ott serves as vice president and treasurer of CSN’s Board of Trustees and vice president of the CSN Foundation.
Chad is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and a graduate of The George Washington University. He and his wife Courtney have two sons, Nicholas (2012) and Preston (2016) who were lifers at CSN.
Rich Crosby - Head Girls Basketball Coach
Coach Rich Crosby started coaching at Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2006 as Assistant Football, Baseball and Girls Basketball Coach. Coach Crosby brings 20 years of coaching and athletic conditioning experience to CSN and was a long-time Assistant Girls Basketball Coach under Legendary Head Coach Mitch Woods. As the Assistant Girls Basketball Coach, he helped CSN to 11 straight District Titles, 5 Regional Titles and 2 State Championships!
Coach Crosby has consulted for several high school, college and professional teams throughout his 27-year career. His areas of specialty include Human Performance, Strength & Conditioning, Nutrition, and Injury Prevention.
Rich grew up in Baltimore, MD and moved to Naples in 1997. He is a graduate of Towson State with a BS in Physical Education (Summa cum Laude). He is married to Jess and they have three children Ryan, Decker and Gracyn.
Mr. Greg Donahue - Head Boys Basketball Coach
Coach Greg Donahue is an 18-year veteran of High School basketball. Coach Donahue started his coaching at Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2006. Greg was the Head Junior Varsity Coach for two years prior to taking the reigns as Head Coach in 2008.
Coach Donahue started his coaching career at St. John Neumann as an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for 7 years. During his time at CSN, he’s led the Seahawk boys’ basketball program to 7 District Championships, 1 Region Championship, and a Final Four appearance. He was named FACA 3A Coach of the Year for 2016 and FACA 5A Coach of the Year for 2017. He has developed some of the finest basketball players in SWFL, placed at least one player on the first-team All-Area Team in each of the past 11 years to include several players earning Player of the Year. Coach Donahue’s teams have an overall record of 207-56.
Ms. Kerri Hixson - Head Cheerleading Coach
Coach Kerri Hixson joined Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2016 and starts her second year as Head Cheerleading Coach. She started as a competitive cheerleader at the age of 10 and competed on the National level in High School and College. Coach Hixson brings the perfect blend of talent, leadership and a powerful role-model presence to a program that “Inspires to Aspire” leadership and competitiveness. As a multi-sport athlete in High School (Volleyball and Track), she continued to build upon that foundation of athletic leadership and was a College Cheerleader at the University of Rhode Island (URI).
Coach Hixson graduated from URI with a degree in Psychology and currently works as the Lead Case Manager in the felony division of Court Administration in Collier County. In addition, she is a “Black Belt” in Karate and remains active in her training. Kerri is a native of Fairhaven, MA and has two children, Alissa (2015) and Cory (2017).
Kasye Beza - Head Cross Country Coach

Coach Kasye Beza started teaching and coaching at Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2014. She teaches in the English Department in the Upper School and is also the Co-Head Coach for CSN’s Track & Field team. Kasye earned a Masters degree in English from Truman State University, where she was a 3-time All-American on the Women’s Track team and currently holds the school record in the 400 meter.
Coach Beza begins her 3nd year as Head Cross Country Coach and 1th year as Co-Head Coach for Track & Field after working as an Assistant for 4 years. Since her arrival to CSN, she has led the Seahawks to 3 District Championships in Cross Country as well as 3rd, 4th, and 6th place State finishes for both girls and boys Track. The 2018 track season was extremely successful for CSN, with records set in hurdles, sprints, and pole vault and athletes matriculating to Wake Forest and Babson College.
Prior to her joining the CSN staff, Coach Beza taught 9 years at Columbia Independent School in Missouri where she started Columbia’s Cross Country program in 2006. Over time, she produced 13 cross country State qualifiers, 3 team State Championships and 5 State individual State qualifiers in Track even though the school did not have a track facility.
Coach Beza brings 5 years of athletic experience besides her expertise in Cross County and Track to CSN, including stints as Athletic Director, Head Golf Coach and Assistant Basketball Coach. Among her accolades as Coach of the Year in Missouri, she has led and trained several CSN student-athletes to compete at the next level at several NCAA notable colleges such as Belmont, Texas Christian University, Georgia, and Florida State among others.
Kasye is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She lives in Naples, where she remains active in the running community by competing in 5ks and half-marathons.
Mr. Paul Selvidio- Head Football Coach
Coach Paul Selvidio started coaching at Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2013 and begins his 5th year as the school’s head football coach; and his 7th year as the school’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Coach Selvidio began his coaching career at CSN as the defensive line and running backs coach during the 2013 season. Coach Selvidio became CSN’s 2nd Head Football Coach in 2014 and led the team to a 10-2 season. The 2014 CSN football team finished 5th in the Sunshine State Athletic Conference (SSAC) with a victory in the SSAC’s 2014 Florida Bowl. Coach Selvidio continues to work with the offensive and defensive lines as their respective position coach in addition to his duties as the head football coach. The 2015 season was another 10-win season, a trip to the Region playoffs and saw a return to the FHSAA 2A classification. In 2016, Coach Selvidio guided the Seahawks to another 10-win season, trip to the Region playoffs and its first-ever overseas trip to Dublin, Ireland. In addition, the 2016 team had 2 players earn All-State honors, one Player of the Year for SWFL, an MVP of the All-State Football Game, a Winged Foot Award nominee, and 7 players selected to the All-Area Teams. This past season, Coach Selvidio’s leadership eased the hardship of Hurricane IRMA and the other weather episodes—however, the team finished with only 2 loses and sent 7 players on to play at NCAA institutions.
Coach Selvidio is a graduate of Florida State University where he earned two B.S. degrees in accounting and finance. While at Florida State, coach Selvidio played football under legendary coaches Bobby Bowden and Mickey Andrews. Coach Selvidio contributed on special teams as he transitioned from linebacker to fullback for the 2001 Seminoles. He was a fullback and letterman on the Seminoles 2002 ACC Championship team and he appeared in the 2003 BCS Sugar Bowl. Additionally, coach Selvidio was recognized as an ACC academic honor roll award winner in his time at Florida State. Prior to attending Florida State, coach Selvidio graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy Preparatory School where he was a starting defensive end for the school’s football team. Prior to attending prep-school, coach Selvidio graduated from Wellington High school in West Palm Beach Florida. While playing for Wellington he was named to the Sun Sentinel All-Area team for Broward and Palm Beach Counties. He was also named to the Outback Steakhouse South Florida All Star team as a starting guard. Additionally, he was named all-district, all-county, and he was Wellington’s most valuable offensive player during his senior season.
Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Prior to becoming the CFO at CSN, coach Selvidio practiced public accounting and consulting for nearly seven years at a large national accounting and consulting firm. Coach Selvidio is married to his wife, Brooke, and has two children, Makayla (6), Peter (4) and Elizabeth (2).
Ms. Kristine Connell- Head Girls Golf Coach
Coach Kristine Connell started coaching Varsity Girls Golf at Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2013. Coach Connell led the team to three consecutive District Championships in 2015, 2016 and 2017—and had one player advance to the State Series. Kristine is 1st Assistant Golf Professional at Worthington CC and prior to coaching for CSN, she played college golf for University of Wisconsin-Stout. In 2012, she completed a double major in Business Administration and Golf Enterprise Management. Kristine then went on to work at Whistling Straits prior to moving to Florida and becoming a golf professional.
Coach Connell’s golf credentials started in high school; she competed all four years on the Varsity Team at Burnsville High School, Minnesota and earned a State Championships in 2007 & 2008 as Team Captain. Kristine continued her play at the college level; she played 4 years at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and was named Captain her Senior year.
Coach Connell is a very active community partner and is involved in the growth of the game by supporting junior golf. In addition, she coordinates the junior golf camps and acts as site director for the LPGA Girls Golf organization.
Kristine is a native of Savage, Minnesota and a graduate of The University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Mr. Paul Celano - Head Boys Golf Coach
Coach Paul Celano started as Head Coach at Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2008. He is currently, the Director of Instruction at Bay Colony Golf Club, and a 33-year member of the PGA of America. Additionally, he is a Master Instructor with the Impact Based Teaching Program with Impact Zone Golf; and as an Instructor, has been developed at some of the top golf facilities in America to include Grand Cypress Resort (Orlando), Sherwood Country Club (Westlake Village, CA), Doral Resort (Miami), Governors Club (Chapel Hill, NC) and The Club at TwinEagles (Naples).
Coach Celano’s teams have amassed 4 top-five finishes in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) State Finals in the last seven years, including a runner-up finish in 2012, 6 straight District Championships and 3 Regional Championships. Moreover, CSN golfers have captured the Naples Daily News Area Golfer of the Year 5 straight years, FHSAA Individual State Runner-up in 2011, Individual Regional Champion in 2012, and 6 straight Individual District Champions (2009-2014). Two CSN golfers were selected as nominees for the prestigious Winged Foot Award (2011 and 2014); and one, Paul’s son, Ryan, was selected as the overall winner of the Winged Scholar Athlete Award in 2014 for Collier County! This past season, the team advanced to the State Series and had a golfer selected as one of three Finalists for Player of the Year. Eight of his players went on to NCAA Division I golf programs; in fact, the last four years CSN golfers went to storied programs including Florida, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, FGCU and Augusta State.
Coach Celano’s dedication to coaching and junior golf has earned him the South Florida PGA’s Southwest Chapter’s Junior Leader of the Year Award in 2011 along with the Naples Daily News Area Coach of the Year honors from 2010-2013.
Paul is a native of Baltimore, MD, graduated with a Business Degree and Lettered all four years in the Division I golf program at Murray State (KY) University. His two sons, Chris and Ryan attend the University of Florida.
Melody Turner - Head Girls Lacrosse Coach
Coach Melody Turner begins her second season as Community School of Naples’ (CSN) Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach for the 2019 season. Coach Turner brings over 18 years of playing and coaching experience with her to CSN. Previously she was the Varsity Lacrosse Coach at two High Schools in Northern Virginia earning the title of "2009 Coach of The Year" and later an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Old Dominion University.
Coach Turner earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science from Old Dominion University and as a Lacrosse Team Captain, lead her team to the CAA Conference Championship. She was ranked #7 in the NCAA for goals in her 2003 season and remains ranked #9 in school history for career goals. In addition to her collegiate success, she is a NCAA Certified Official, US Lacrosse Certified Trainer and Observer, she carries a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification and holds a Teacher Certification K-12. She is an active member and serves on the board of the South Gulf Coast Lacrosse Officials Association.
Mr. Rich L. Lewton - Head Boys Lacrosse Coach

Rich Lewton started as Community School of Naples’ (CSN) Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse coach in 2008. Rich started CSN’s lacrosse program when he was hired in 1998; however, the program initially started in a “club status” mode for several years before being recognized as a varsity sport.
Coach Lewton is a venerable player and coach. He began playing lacrosse in the “hotbed” of lacrosse—Long Island, New York when he was in eighth grade, and continues his playing on a touring Ultra Grandmasters team (the team was recently crowned champions in the Florida Lacrosse Classic). He was a High School All-American (at defense) and awarded a scholarship to Hofstra University where he was named NCAA Division I All-American three times. Upon graduating from Hofstra he was nominated to the US Lacrosse Team for the 1978 World Games.
During his coaching tenure, Rich earned Lee County’s 2012 Coach of the Year. In the 2012 and 2013 seasons, his team went 25-4. He serves as the Upper School Dean of Students at CSN. He and his wife, Betsy (CSN Science Department Chair) have lived in Fort Myers since 1985. They have two boys, Trevor and Parker.
Ms. Jenna Kloss - Head Girls Soccer Coach

Jenna Kloss started as Head Girl Soccer Coach Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2012 and began teaching in 2009 as Kindergarten teacher in the Lower School. She holds a National Coaching License and a F.C. Barcelona training coaching license; and has played Division 1 and women’s professional soccer in addition to women’s lacrosse on the Pennsylvania State and Regional Team Level.
Coach Kloss’s coaching credentials include Assistant Varsity Girls Coach and Junior Varsity Girls Head Coach at Barron Collier High School where she fielded District champions three years in a row and a couple Regional contests as well. After coming to CSN, Coach Kloss assumed the Head Coach role for our Middle School Boys and Girls and transitioned to Assistant Boys Varsity coach.
During her tenure, Coach Kloss has led our Girls Varsity Soccer to 3 District Championships, 2 Region Championships, 2 State Series Final Four appearances and State Runner-up in 2017. Jenna has been Naples Daily News Winter Sports Coach of the Year and Soccer Coach of the Year four times. Additionally, she was named District Girls Soccer Coach of the Year five times and was CSN’s Gulf Coast Insurance Collier County Coach of the Year nominee for 2014 & 2015 School year.
Jenna is a native of Philadelphia Pennsylvania and a graduate of Mercer University in Macon Georgia and has a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is very involved in the Foster Care Council of Southwest Florida and is married to Thomas Kloss, a professional soccer player in the first division Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfur, Germany. Jenna and Thomas own and run a youth soccer league together.
Thomas Kloss - Head Boys Soccer Coach
Coach Thomas Kloss starts his 1st year as Community School of Naples (CSN) Head Boys Varsity Soccer coach. Coach Kloss comes with over 20 years of coaching experience and a wealth of soccer knowledge as both a player and coach. He is very familiar with the CSN culture and has spent 12 years in various Soccer coaching positions at CSN.
Coach Kloss played 13 years as a professional Soccer player in Germany; in addition, he has owned and managed private soccer schools and trained hundreds of players from ages 5 – 18. He inherits a CSN program that has won 4 District titles, 2 Region Titles and 2 trips to the State Series since 2013.
Coach Kloss and his wife Jenna are deeply passionate about CSN Soccer and understand what it takes to blend academics and athletics in today’s society.
Ms. Amber O’Malley - Head Softball Coach
Coach Amber O’Malley started as Head Softball Coach for Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2016. She is a Certified Athletic Administrator and recently selected to the Board for the FIAA. Coach O’Malley has been CSN’s Middle School Athletic Director for the past year.
Coach O’Malley led the Shoream Wading River High School Wildcat softball team to the Suffolk County, NY Championship game. She took a 3-win team and led them to a record 14-4 season within one year. Coach O’Malley played both Softball and Tennis in College; in fact, she led Dowling College to 2 straight NCAA Division II Regional games.
Amber has a degree in early childhood education and Special education; and a Masters in Education.
Rich Crosby - Head Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
Coach Rich Crosby starts his second year as Community School of Naples Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Coach Crosby brings 20 years of athletic conditioning experience to CSN and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Coach Crosby has consulted for several high school, college and professional teams throughout his 27-year career. His areas of specialty include Human Performance, Strength & Conditioning, Nutrition, and Injury Prevention. He has been CSN’s Offensive Coordinator/Quarterback Coach since 2010 where his offense led the State of Florida in passing (2012) in 2A. In addition, our offensive team statistics in scoring (43 points per game), yards per game (376) and passing (3,032) ranked 6th in all state classifications. Coach Crosby was also an Assistant Baseball Coach from 2006 – 2011 and is currently the Girls Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach.

Ms. Nancy Geiman- Head Diving Coach
Coach Nancy Geiman has been associated with Community School of Naples (CSN) athletics since 1999. Her first coaching position was in Girls Tennis; Nancy was the Head Girls Tennis coach from 1999 – 2008. Due to her diligent effort and dedication to diving; Coach Geiman founded the Boys & Girls Springboard Diving program in 2002 and never looked back. Since that time, Coach Geiman trained several District, Region and State award-winning divers, and has had many go on to dive at the collegiate level. Since 2016, she had two Divers set 5 new CSN Diving records.
Coach Geiman is a two-time winner of the Collier Coaches’ Sportsmanship Award and was the Naples Daily News and Florida Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year in 2012. She continues to hone her coaching skills outside of CSN as the Assistant Tennis professional at Vineyards Country Club. Coach Geiman also runs a Diving Program with Collier County Parks and Recreation.
Mr. John King - Head Swimming Coach
Coach John King has been associated with Community School of Naples (CSN) athletics since 2011, where he served as Assistant Swim Coach. He is an avid swimmer and swam competitively at Indiana University (IU) under legendary coach Dr. James Councilman. At IU, Coach King earned Big Ten Championships and NCAA Division I All-American honors. He has coached beginning swimmers, youth teams, High School teams, College teams and an Olympic medalist.
This past season, Coach King developed a record-setting Girls Swim team. His team produced a State Champion, a SWFL Player of the Year, set 7 new school records, delivered a District Runner-up title and got 4 swimmers selected as All-Area.
Coach King is a native of Indiana, and graduated from IU with a Master’s degree in Operations Management. On most occasions, you can find Coach King swimming with the Master’s group early in the morning at CSN.
Lilia C. Snape - Head Girls Tennis Coach
Coach Lilia Snape begins her 2nd year as the Varsity Girls Tennis Coach at Community School of Naples (CSN). Lilia is the current Director of Tennis at The Ritz-Carlton Resorts Naples and competed on the WTA pro tour for 15 years. She brings over 20 years of playing/coaching experience to CSN including positions as Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at both Harvard and Stanford.
Coach Snape began playing tennis at age 6 in Columbus, Ohio. She was ranked 41st in Singles and 72nd in Doubles during her time as a Professional. She earned a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University, crowned NCAA Singles & Team Champion at Stanford University in 1997 and was inducted into the Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010.
Mr. Hernan Nunez - Head Boys Tennis Coach
Coach Hernan Nunez has been involved with CSN Tennis since 2007 and begins his first year at CSN Head Boy’s Tennis Coach. He will lead a boy’s Varsity tennis squad that have been District Champions for 4 consecutive years.
Coach Nunez is a USPTA member and has an International Business degree from Bogota Colombia. He is Co-Founder of Ultra Tennis Academy and has been the Director of Tennis at several locations and Tennis Professional at The Dunes, Pembrooke Pines, Naples Bath and Tennis Club, Mediterra and Ritz Carlton.
Hernan is an active player on the Naples Pro League, Champion of the 5-0 Division, Naples City champion in 2016, Nationally ranked in the top 10 Professional Division in Colombia in 2002 and Internationally ranted in the top 50 Junior Division in South America in 1998 & 1999.
Coach Nunez’s philosophy is to build and grow a positive, competitive and organized foundation at CSN while focusing on teamwork, character, and sportsmanship.
Head Track & Field Coach - Demarcus “Sarge” Brown
Coach Demarcus “Sarge” Brown starts his 1st year at Community School of Naples (CSN). Coach Brown is a decorated US Army First Sergeant, Iraqi war veteran with 27 years of Army leadership and 14 years of Fitness Training expertise. He has a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Columbia College, St. Louis, MO; and has been a Head Basketball and Track & Field Coach at the Club level, Middle School level and High School level.
Coach Brown was a High School All-American in the 110m High Hurdles and the 300m Intermediate Hurdles. In addition, Sarge ran for the US Army Track Team and European Track Club where he placed 5th in the 400m Hurdles while in Europe.
Sarge is truly a global traveler, as he grew up in the US Military and has lived all over the world. He is a resident of Naples, and is passionate about Track & Field and developing young men and women into great global citizens and leaders.
Ms. Alicia MacIntyre - Head Girls Volleyball Coach
Coach Alicia MacIntyre started as the Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach at Community School of Naples (CSN) in 2016. This past season, she took the team to another Regional playoff game, had 4 players earn All-Area distinction and will take the team this coming season to Rome, Italy to play two games against international opponents. Coach MacIntyre has 7 years of coaching experience including College, High School, and Private Clubs. She played both college Volleyball and Softball at Lincoln Memorial University—a NCAA Division II institution in Tennessee.
Coach MacIntyre has a BA in Communications and minored in English & Biology. In college, she was named to the All-Region team twice, All-South Atlantic Conference Team and was named an Athletic Legend for Lincoln Memorial Athletics in 2016.
Alicia and her family reside in Fort Myers, and she currently teaches for the Collier County Public School system.
