The Juliet Collier Sproul Center for Community and Global Impact engages the entire CSN community in purposeful acts of service and leadership, and promotes a commitment to empathy that ultimately leads to the discovery of each individual’s potential to contribute meaningfully to the community, environment, and the world beyond.

From the Director of the JCS Center

By fostering community partners, the center creates both service and immersive educational opportunities for our students. We seek to create transformational leaders who utilize connections initially formed through the center to pursue their passions to form a vocational identity.

Mrs. Briana Leschen

Assistant Director of Community Impact, Middle School Elective Teacher
Briana Leschen relocated to Naples in 2023. Originally from Manalapan, NJ, she attended Rutgers University where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. with a specialization in literacy. Ms. Leschen taught middle school English in the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District for over 20 years, teaching academically talented students as well as math. She was the creator and co-advisor of the Community Service Club, as well as a member of several district-wide committees. She also served as a trustee for an educational nonprofit organization. After moving to Naples, she taught middle school math at Seacrest Country Day School, where she also led academic support groups, several community service projects and served as an advisor to sixth grade students.

Ms. Fabiola von Hollen

Upper School World Language Chair, Assistant Director for Global Impact, Upper School Spanish Teacher

Ms. Fabiola von Hollen returns to CSN where she was a MS Spanish Teacher and Assistant Head of Middle School from 2007 to 2013.  She left to teach Middle and Upper School Spanish at Lincoln School in Kathmandu, Nepal, also serving as their World Languages Department Head. After surviving the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, she moved to Cochabamba, Bolivia where she expanded her abilities in the International Baccalaureate Programme as the IB Diploma Coordinator at the American International School of Bolivia (AISB). She taught IB Visual Arts, IB English Literature, and IB Spanish. In 2018, Fabi lived in Mexico City and worked as the Primary Years Programme IB Coordinator at the prestigious Westhill Institute. In 2019, she went back to AISB as the Upper School Dean of Students, focusing on the core of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, acting as the Creativity, Activity, and Service Coordinator and teaching Theory of Knowledge.

Working with the kids at the Guadalupe Center helped me realize how fortunate I am and how much I enjoy helping others. They were smart, funny, kind, and excited to learn. Seeing the joy we brought them inspired me to volunteer more and continue making a difference in my community. Middle School Student
