Community School of Naples is a proud member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). In alignment with FHSAA principles, we hold our athletes, coaches, and spectators to the highest standards of character and sportsmanship. We ask that all fans help us maintain a positive, competitive, and safe environment by adhering to the following game-day rules:

• Support Positively: Cheer enthusiastically for your team, but refrain from heckling, jeering, or attempting to distract opposing players, coaches, or contest officials.
• Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Profanity, derogatory remarks, or intimidating actions directed at anyone on campus will not be tolerated and are grounds for immediate removal from the facility.
• Signage & Banners: Banners and handheld signs are permitted if they are in good taste and solely encourage your own team. Signs must not make any reference (negative or otherwise) to the opposing school, players, or community, and must not obstruct the view of other spectators.
• Artificial Noisemakers: In accordance with FHSAA regulations, artificial noisemakers (including air horns, whistles, cowbells, and sirens) are strictly prohibited at all athletic events.
• Respect the Officials: Recognize that contest officials are impartial, trained authorities. Accepting and abiding by their decisions is a fundamental expectation of everyone in attendance.
• Follow Event Staff Directions: Please cooperate fully with all school administrators, security personnel, and event staff. The athletic fields and courts are extensions of our classrooms, and all campus safety policies apply.

The safety of our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators is our highest priority. In accordance with FHSAA safety guidelines, Community School of Naples utilizes Thor Guard, a dedicated lightning detection system, to monitor local weather conditions in real-time.

Please familiarize yourself with our severe weather protocols before game day:

• The 10-Mile Rule: Outdoor practices and contests will be immediately suspended if a lightning strike is detected within a 10-mile radius of our campus, or if thunder is heard/lightning is observed visually.

• Athlete & Coach Evacuation: Upon suspension of play, all student-athletes, coaches, and officials will be cleared from the playing fields immediately and moved to designated indoor shelters (locker rooms or the fitness center).

• Spectator Evacuation: For your safety, all spectators must vacate the bleachers and outdoor viewing areas immediately. Please seek shelter inside your personal vehicles. Dugouts, tents, and under-bleacher areas are not safe shelters from lightning.

• Resumption or Cancellation: Once outdoor activities are suspended, officials will continue monitor weather conditions. If conditions improve and no lightning is detected within a 10-mile radius after the waiting period, event staff will announce "All Clear", at which point activities will resume. If conditions do not approve, the event will be cancelled or postponed.
