The Spotlight

The CSN theater program includes the Upper & Middle School with classes that culminate in fully staged, choreographed and designed productions each semester. These productions also include the Lower School Dance Express, an extra curricular group of lower school students who are featured in the production. The performances are Directed, Choregraphed & designed by professionals and are accompanied by an orchestra of professionals mixed with qualified students. There is also and extra curricular Upper School play performed in the fall each year.

The performing arts give our students a chance to step into the spotlight and express their talents.

Working alongside accomplished professionals, students learn through active participation and collaboration, deepening their understanding while discovering new ways to express ideas, emotions, and stories.

A vibrant performing arts program enriches the life of our campus, bringing students and audiences together through shared experiences. It nurtures artistic growth, celebrates student talent, and inspires a lasting appreciation for music and theatre.

Between The Lines

Under the direction of Mark Danni, with choreography by Karen Molnar Danni, the cast and crew explored themes of identity, belonging, and finding the courage to shape one’s own story. Directed by Mark Danni, the production showcased the value of learning alongside theatre professionals, whose guidance helped students deepen their craft and create a lively, fully realized world onstage. Filled with humor, creativity, and memorable performances, Fools celebrated the dedication and artistic growth of the entire cast.

SHOWTIME

Showtime is a beloved CSN tradition that celebrates the creativity, dedication, and talent of our Upper School Theatre students through an original, student-driven production. Each year, students in Advanced Topics in Theatre develop the theme and musical selections, working alongside professional music directors, choreographers, and TheatreZone artists to refine every element of the performance. The production also welcomes younger Seahawks from Lower School Dance Express, creating a memorable shared experience that brings students of all ages together onstage.
