The CSN theater program includes the Upper & Middle School with classes that culminate in fully staged, choreographed and designed productions each semester. These productions also include the Lower School Dance Express, an extra curricular group of lower school students who are featured in the production. The performances are Directed, Choregraphed & designed by professionals and are accompanied by an orchestra of professionals mixed with qualified students. There is also and extra curricular Upper School play performed in the fall each year.

Middle School

Middle School Drama is an elective for grades 6-8. The class focuses on the fundamentals of stage movement, acting, dance, and characterization. Class members showcase their numerous talents during the first semester in the musical extravaganza, "Showtime," and a traditional musical the second semester. The most important lessons taught in the class are life skills including effective communication, risk-taking, and mental preparation/focus.

Upper School

The Upper School theater experience begins with a class that encompasses the study and performance of scenes from a variety of theatrical styles. The class focuses on the fundamentals of stage movement, acting, dance, and characterization. Class members showcase their numerous talents in the musical extravaganza "Showtime" during the first semester, and a traditional musical the second semester. As an extracurricular activity, Upper School students may choose to audition for the fall play. Rehearsals for that production are held after school.

Students interested in pursuing theater at the University level or beyond benefit from a unique partnership with TheatreZone, Naples’ professional Equity Theatre Company in residence at the school's G&L Theater. CSN students have the opportunity to work with TheatreZone and its award-winning staff, who are also faculty or are affiliated with CSN. TheatreZone consists of professional performers and directors from Broadway and television. By working with TheatreZone and its talented team, CSN students may begin earning points toward their Equity cards in the Equity Membership Candidate program (EMC).
