Each application must be submitted with a non-refundable $100 application fee. Each applicant applying to grades 2-12 will take an ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) which costs between $100 and $150.

The Admissions Office uses an online calendar to schedule campus tours. To schedule a tour, please create a Ravenna Account with your contact information, then choose “Upcoming Events.”

Yes. CSN does not offer an ESL program.

There are approximately 400 students in the Upper School, 210 students in the Middle School, and 360 students in the Lower School.  The average classroom size is between 12-15 students.

The admissions assessments are important because scores are based on independent schools' norms. These scores are predictors of success in independent schools such as CSN. Although it is important, the testing is only one portion of the admissions application. Other factors, such as report cards, the admission interview, student essays, and teacher recommendations are equally as important. All aspects of the admissions application are reviewed in depth prior to issuing an admissions decision.

Teacher recommendations speak to a student’s progress, behavior, and drive in the classroom. These forms help the Admissions Committee better understand whether a student is ready for academic and behavioral expectations of CSN’s classroom environment.

After submitting the admissions application and paying the $100 fee, you can check the progress of your child’s application using the Ravenna portal. After selecting your child’s name in Ravenna, the progress bar can be found on the right side of the screen (shown below).

We recommend that you apply to an additional school as a backup should your child not be admitted to Community School of Naples.

Families who complete the admissions process in its entirety by February 1 will receive an admissions decision via the Ravenna portal on March 15. The Admissions Office offers unfilled seats on a rolling basis after the March 15 decisions are released.

Each year, approximately 20 percent of the student body receives financial aid. The financial aid program allows academically qualified students to attend Community School of Naples regardless of their families’ financial status and helps maintain socio-economic diversity, a key aspect of CSN’s Mission.

CSN does not accept government funding or offer any athletic or merit based scholarships. Financial aid is need based and requires an application.
