P. E. and Wellness

Physical Education and Wellness is a required programmatic component for students in grades 6-8. Both team sports, personal fitness, and health classes are taken during the middle school years. Over the three-year period, students work through a developmentally-aligned health curriculum. Each area of health – physical, mental, emotional, and social – is examined. Students are continually encouraged to reflect upon daily choices and analyze how these decisions can impact their overall level of health and wellness.

Physical Education electives include Health 6, Health 7, Health 8, Advanced Boys Lacrosse, Advanced Non-contact Football, CSN-X, Frisbee Games, Gym/Hockey/Handball, Kickball Games,
Outdoor Racket Sports, Peak Performance, PE Games and Exercise, Soccer, Softball, Swim Games, Volleyball, Yoga and Movement, and Zumba and Aerobics.
