Enrichment
At CSN, we believe in High Standards and High Support for every learner. Our Lower School (Grades K–5) enrichment model in Language Arts and Math is designed to provide students with meaningful opportunities that challenge their thinking, inspire curiosity, and encourage creativity.
Through engaging, student-centered experiences, learners are encouraged to think deeply, solve problems, explore their interests, and develop their unique strengths. Students expand their critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and reasoning skills while becoming active partners in their education.
By providing the right balance of challenge and support, we empower students to build confidence, embrace academic challenges, and recognize themselves as capable, creative, and innovative thinkers.
2E Learners
Twice Exceptional (2e) students are both highly capable and have learning or attention differences. A strengths-based approach, paired with appropriate support and accommodations, allows 2e students to thrive and reach their full potential.
2e students bring unique strengths, talents, and perspectives while also benefiting from support that recognizes compliments their individual learning profile. Our approach is purposefully designed to meet these complex needs.

Scope of Support: Who Do We Serve?
While the school provides a supportive learning environment, CSN is equipped to accommodate only students with documented, language-based learning differences. These differences may affect reading, written expression, mathematics, attention, auditory processing, processing speed, working memory and/or executive functioning.
Documentation and Evaluation Requirements
To ensure each admitted student can be appropriately supported and positioned for success, families must submit a current (within 3 years), comprehensive neuropsychological or psychoeducational evaluation conducted by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist.
This evaluation must:
- Clearly identify the student’s diagnosis
- Include specific accommodation recommendations that are appropriate for implementation within CSN's educational environment.
Limitations
CSN is not equipped to serve students whose learning differences are extensive, nor those requiring a highly specialized or therapeutic educational setting. By maintaining this focused scope, we ensure that our faculty and resources remain optimally aligned with the specific needs of our students, allowing them to thrive within our college-preparatory framework.
Our goal is always to ensure that each student is placed in an environment where they can experience success academically, socially, and emotionally. When a student’s needs extend beyond the supports we can provide, we believe it is most responsible to help families consider other educational settings that are specifically designed to meet those needs.
Who We Might Not Be The Best Fit For
While we work to support many learners, Community School of Naples may not be the best fit for every student. We are not a therapeutic school, and we do not offer specialized programs designed primarily for behavioral, psychiatric, or intensive clinical needs. As such, there are some student profiles that fall outside the scope of services we are able to provide.
These may include students:
- Who require consistent 1:1 instructional or behavioral support
- With moderate-to-severe Autism Spectrum Disorder
- With an identified intellectual disability that significantly impacts access to a college-preparatory curriculum
- With a documented history of significant school-related behavioral, emotional, or conduct challenges that require therapeutic intervention
Our goal is always to ensure that each student is placed in an environment where they can experience success academically, socially, and emotionally. When a student’s needs extend beyond the supports we are able to provide within our program, we believe it is most responsible to help families consider settings that are specifically designed to meet those needs.
