Third through fifth graders competed last month in the WordMasters Challenge™, a national vocabulary competition involving nearly 125,000 students annually. We are so excited to announce that our fourth grade team achieved Highest Honors! They scored an impressive 190 points out of a possible 200 in the second of three meets this year, placing ninth in the nation. This is the first time that our school has placed in the top ten. Way to go fourth grade!
Competing in the Gold Division of the WordMasters Challenge™, fourth graders Riley, Hunter, and Ariana, and fifth grader Harold each earned a perfect score of 20 on the challenge. Nationally, only 101 fourth graders and 50 fifth graders achieved this result. Other students from CSN who achieved outstanding results in the meet include third grader Aidan, fourth graders Claire, Max, Kayden , and Maddie, and fifth grader Myles. We are so proud of everyone who participated in this challenge, and can’t wait for our final challenge in April.
