Swim and Dive District Results

After a great season, CSN swimmers and divers have completed their District 6 Championship meets! The divers had their meet on Oct. 21 right here at the Norris Pool on our campus. The swimmers had their meet on Oct. 22 at the FGCU Aquatics Center. Both the girls and the boys took the District Runner-up titles behind the Bishop Verot teams.  Click here for a peek at the action.

This season, our swimmers and divers have achieved many great accomplishments. At the meet, several swimmers beat their personal records. As for diving, sophomore Charlotte Norman broke the school’s girls’ record for 11 one-meter dives! She earned a total of 466.55 points, beating the previous CSN record of 422.25 points. Charlotte has earned the number one seed in the entire region!  

Nine of our swimmers and divers have qualified for individual events in addition to four team relays at the Region 2 Championship in St. Petersburg on Oct. 30. Here are those swimmers and their respective events: Adriana Achecar-Romanin ‘23 (200 IM, 500 freestyle); Lucas Casey ‘26 (100 backstroke); Carson Feehery ‘25 (200 IM, 100 breaststroke); Charlie Krauss ’22 (200 freestyle, 100 freestyle); Egor Kuznetsov ‘25 (100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke); Christian McAuley ‘25 (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle); Charlotte Norman ‘24 (100 butterfly, 1-meter diving); JD Scoular ‘25 (500 freestyle); Campbell Steere ‘23 (200 IM, 100 breaststroke). CSN qualified for these relays: Girls’ 200 Medley, Girls’ 400 Freestyle, Boys’ 200 Freestyle, and Boys’ 400 Freestyle. Emma Mastrangelo ’26 and Sophia Yurko ’26 will be joining the other swimmers to compete in the relays.
