CSN has just been notified by the College Board that seniors Wren DeHaan and Heloise Hoffmann both earned perfect scores on the college-level Advanced Placement® (AP®) Research Exam in spring 2021. They were among an elite group of only 375 students in the world to earn every point possible on this exam! “AP® courses and exams are college-level, requiring great focus and persistence among participating students,” said Trevor Packer, head of the AP® Program. “We applaud the educators who encourage students to challenge themselves, who motivate and encourage diverse students to achieve their academic potential.” He continued, “These extraordinary academic accomplishments are likely a direct reflection of the top-quality education being offered at Community School of Naples. We applaud both your school’s hard-working students and the devoted AP® teachers who have so successfully engaged and challenged them with college-level material.” Students who succeed in AP® are not only more likely to succeed in college, but have the chance to save a significant amount of time and money by earning college credit or placement. Colleges and universities around the world accept AP® scores for college credit, advanced placement, and/or consideration in the admission process. CSN offers 29 AP® courses, and on average 95% of their students take at least one before graduating.
