MS Girls GCAC Champs!

MS girls soccer faced off against Southwest Florida Christian Academy in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship game on Jan. 19.

Seahawks came out on top scoring four goals, leading them to a 4-0 victory over the Kings and earning a 1st place trophy.

“The team have played exceptional soccer this season. They have grown as the season went on and got better and better. Their application and work ethic on the field, following instructions and supporting each other, whether starting or not, has been a strong aspect of their success. Beating Canterbury three times over the course of the season is of course a big highlight. But the final game showed the huge potential this group of girls has -- losing one of the team’s captains to injury prior to the game, not letting that faze them and still performing to such a high standard. Congratulations to all the involved in making this a successful season for MS soccer.” (Coach Enoch Showunmi)
