Our girls Varsity golf team shot a tournament best 313 to win the Hawkins Invitational in Avon Park, surpassing the next closest team, the Lake Nona Lady Lions, by five strokes.
Seventh grader Emma McKoan led the way with a low round of 75, as she finished tied for 2nd overall and had a round which featured back-to-back eagles. Sophomore Sydney Young finished tied for fourth overall with a round of 76. The other girls on the team were sophomore Alayna Friedt (78) and seventh graders Reilly Kirwin (84) and Berkley Young (93). GO SEAHAWKS!
