The PreK4 students in Mrs. Carlisi’s class have been learning about Monarch butterflies. Having observed a caterpillar for a while, students had the opportunity this week to watch it hatch out of its chrysalis. The children had so much joy and excitement when they felt the butterfly’s little feet tickle their hands! Note that all these photos are with the same butterfly. Looks like the little fella didn’t want to leave!  Nature is such a beautiful gift when used to enrich the minds of young learners.  Click here for more photos.
