Aug. 6 was Acceptance Day at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Nearly 1200 incoming freshmen arrived at the Academy for Basic Cadet Training on June 24 to spend the next 5 weeks going through intense military training. The ceremony concluded with the incoming Freshmen marching in a Parade to join their new squadrons with upperclassmen. It was a heartwarming moment to see Elijah Beauplan '17 pinning on Olivia Weiss '21 on the Parade Field at the Academy.  Elijah is a rising Senior at the Academy and Olivia is a new Freshman.
