CSN Students Shine at TheatreZone

Working with TheatreZone provides students with valuable experience, and because these are professional productions, all personnel are paid.

For the past 17 years, dozens of CSN students have chosen to pursue a performing arts career as a result of their TheatreZone experiences. This season is especially exciting because four CSN students have been cast in productions alongside professional performers. Just recently, Kylie Gust ’27 performed in TheatreZone’s annual Home for the Holidays. The show also featured eight of our CSN LS Dance Express: Giuliana Ballachino-Morse ‘30, Ella Clark ‘31, Chance Cockrell ‘34, Tessa Cockrell ‘31, Valentina Lovse ‘30, Pearl Owen ‘31, Kenna Resop ’31, and Jessica Wilson ‘31.  Alex Dimaras ’24 also joined a very seasoned professional orchestra on violin for the show, impressing the group of musicians who play with the Naples Philharmonic and many touring Broadway shows. Ali Lagergren ’23 worked backstage at Home for the Holidays and will be joining Skye Worland ‘23 backstage for I Love My Wife in January.

In April, Siena Worland ’22 and Leonard Allen ’24 will play the teenage children of Francesca in the musical version of The Bridges of Madison County. In March, William Bedford ’22 will be in Camelot, alongside Whitney Winfield who stared as Fiona in the national tour of Shrek.  These students will now be eligible to join the Equity Membership Candidate Program (EMC) and gain points toward obtaining their highly valuable Equity card, given to people who choose to perform as a career.
