CSN Robotics Successes

Two upperclass robots competed in Green Bay, and one freshman robot advanced to the Florida State Championships!

Last weekend, robotics upperclass teams 94G (juniors Noah Cartwright, Lucan Keyser, Sammy Sissman, and senior Max Myers) and 94Z (seniors Anadi Shukla, Ben Ouaou, Trey Verhelle, Zach Smallwood and junior William Zhang) traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin to compete at Packer’s Stadium, finishing in the "middle of the pac” against some of the best teams in the US and Canada. Temperatures hovering in the low single digits did not stop them from tubing down a snowy hill; learning the Winter Olympics sport curling; or running out of the famous Lambeau Field players’ tunnel.

In addition, on Saturday, freshman teams 94T (Miles Smith, Wyatt Cunningham, and Cal Wyatt) and 94X (Hudson Kennedy, Jack Preston, and Roman Akimov) spent the day at Riverdale HS in Fort Myers playing matches against 24 robots from South Florida.  After qualification rounds, both CSN robots were picked to ally with other robot teams going into final rounds, where  94T and 94X were knocked out in the quarterfinals/semifinals respectively.  Based on stats earned at the event, 94X was selected by the league to advance to the Florida State Championships in March!
