CREW

Fourth graders recently went on a field trip to CREW Marsh Trails.

This was a follow-up to the FGCU Wings of Hope Panther Posse field trip in which the students participated in the fall. CREW (Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed) is 60,000 acres straddling Lee and Collier counties, the largest undisturbed watershed in Southwest Florida. Students experienced a hiking adventure where they were surrounded by nature. They learned about plants and animals native to Florida. In addition, students made the connection to what they have learned in science class throughout the year. Photos here.
