The winners of this year’s Broadway Star of the Future Awards include Leonard Allen ‘24 (Doody) and Maxine Danni ’21 (Rizzo) for Outstanding Supporting Performer in a Musical, and Mrs. Karen Danni for Outstanding Choreography, all from CSN's production of Grease.​ The Broadway Star of the Future program is Tampa Bay/Southwest Florida’s regional awards program affiliated with the National High School Musical Theater Awards (NHSMTA).  Since 2009, the Straz Performing Arts Center in Tampa has celebrated outstanding student achievement in the high school theater. By recognizing and honoring individual artistry in vocal, dance, and acting performance, and honoring theater educators’ and administrators’ commitment to performing arts education, the program seeks to encourage excellence in the performing arts and engage families in the activities of their students.  CSN is celebrating three “broken legs!”
