Another CSN Book Fair is in the Books!

The CSN Book Fair places many wonderful books into the hands of our children, as well as adding to our library and classroom collections. Photos here.

With book sales generated and revenue from Scholastic Books, future purchases will be made for teachers, who are always extremely grateful to receive so many book donations from our generous families.  The book fair is truly a school-wide community event, with parents and teachers from all divisions providing a helping hand. Many others will also benefit, including the barbecue fundraiser run by the US Key Club, Cake Walk by the US Wordsmith Club, and Kona’s Ice by the MS Builders Club, who were able to raise funds to support their student activities, in addition the MS Environmental Club, and US Art Club stations that our families enjoyed on Family Night.

The library would like to share a great big CSN thank you to Mrs. Wendy Grossman, CSN Book Fair Volunteer Chairperson, for another successful event. Many, many thanks to our parent, faculty and student volunteers who helped transform the MAC into this year’s “Snow Many Books” theme -- it looked amazing! We greatly appreciate all those who assisted with decorations, computer needs, overall support, book fair setup, and breakdown, as well as to our awesome maintenance crew for their contribution to the setup. A special thank you to Mrs. Heather Dockweiler for once again creating our beautiful Book Fair themed forms. Also, our gratitude to Mrs. Jennifer Childs for donating three beautiful baskets of books for our raffle, and all the parents who lent us their “snowy winter” props for the event. Your continued support helps to make our book fair something to look forward to each year.

As a final note, we are so very grateful for the support of the CSN community and for sharing our love of books!
