Eighth grader Lily Gaston has been selected for the FMEA All-State Middle School Treble Chorus. This is a rigorous multi-round competition and a very difficult thing to achieve. The audition includes reading music and sight singing, and requires immense preparation. The 250 chosen students from around the state will come together in Tampa at the Florida Music Education Association convention in January to rehearse for two days, culminating in a final performance on the Tampa Convention Center stage.
