Each student brought in at least one product and gave a short presentation to their classmates. They explain what they brought in, where it was made, and how they came to own it. The items were from all across the globe, with most continents represented in each of the classes. Globalization is a concept first introduced in the previous unit on human geography and will continue to be explored in this unit on economics. 

"This activity allowed students to see first-hand how connected our world is today," Mrs. Carper explained.
