At Community School of Naples, excellence is not defined by age. Throughout the 2025–2026 athletic year, an extraordinary group of middle school student-athletes stepped onto the varsity stage and proved they are already helping shape the future of Seahawk athletics.

From the pool and tennis courts to the track, football field, soccer pitch, and lacrosse field, these sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students competed against older athletes while balancing the rigorous academic expectations of CSN. Their accomplishments represent more than talent alone. They reflect discipline, confidence, work ethic, and the courage to compete beyond their years.

Sixth Grade Athletes Making a Varsity Impact

The future of Seahawk athletics is incredibly bright, and several sixth graders are already gaining valuable varsity experience.

Competing in Varsity Tennis were Caroline Bordlee '32 and Milan Shiery '32, while Caroline Sonne' 32 represented CSN in Varsity Track and Field.

The Varsity Swim and Dive program featured an impressive group of sixth graders including Finnegan Foht '32, Maya Gulati '32, Owen Hoffmeister '32, Lucas Suciu '32, Avery Swarts '32, Mason Velazquez '32, and Efe Zengin '32.

For these young athletes, simply earning a varsity roster spot at the sixth grade level is a remarkable accomplishment. Their ability to compete alongside upper school athletes demonstrates the strength of their preparation and the bright future ahead for Seahawk athletics.

Seventh Graders Continuing to Rise

CSN’s seventh grade student-athletes continued to establish themselves as major contributors across multiple varsity programs this year.

In Varsity Tennis, Liam Farace '31 and Stella Obstgarten '31 represented the Seahawks, while Jordan Paul '31 competed in Varsity Track and Field.

One of the most versatile student-athletes this season was Olivia Vosloo '31, who competed in Varsity Swim and Dive, Varsity Tennis, and Varsity Track and Field. Taylor Matalamaki '31 also showcased tremendous versatility, competing in both Varsity Basketball and Varsity Softball.

Varsity Swim and Dive featured another talented group of seventh graders including Annabelle Crandall '31, Nicholas Fitzgerald '31, Christian Koser '31, Eli Miller '31, EJ Mokhiber '31, Jason Velazquez '31, and Olivia Vondra '31.

These student-athletes are already gaining championship-level experience and continuing to build the culture of excellence that defines CSN athletics.

Eighth Graders Leading by Example

As the oldest members of middle school, CSN’s eighth graders embraced leadership roles while competing across some of the school’s most competitive varsity programs.

Varsity Tennis featured Alana Aroy '30, Benjamin Bordlee '30, Jack Denman '30, and Isaac Malamed '30, while Varsity Soccer included Sebastian Dal Lago '30, Cody Kalikas '30, Grace Malloy '30, and Molly O’Flinn '30.

On the lacrosse field, Eva Berg '30, Elin Leach '30, and Burch Summers '30 represented the Seahawks at the varsity level.

CSN Football included Charlie Bliss '30, while Varsity Softball featured Makayla Selvidio '30.

In endurance sports, Sloane Egbert '30 and Lily Stanosheck'30 competed in Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track and Field, continuing CSN’s tradition of excellence in distance athletics.

Bahar Graham '30 showcased exceptional versatility throughout the year by competing in Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Track and Field, and Varsity Beach Volleyball.

Kiran Patel '30 represented the Seahawks in Varsity Swim and Dive, while Grace Malloy '30 competed across three varsity sports including Varsity Soccer, Varsity Lacrosse, and Varsity Tennis & Varsity Track and Field.

These student-athletes are not only competing ahead of schedule. They are helping establish the next era of Seahawk success.

At Community School of Naples, varsity opportunities are earned through preparation, commitment, and performance. The middle school student-athletes competing at the varsity level during the 2025–2026 school year embody all of those qualities.

As these young Seahawks continue to grow academically, athletically, and personally, they are already building the foundation for future championships, leadership opportunities, and lifelong success.
