Database Specialist
Community School of Naples is currently seeking an energetic and versatile person to assist with our school’s fundraising efforts. This role is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the Advancement Department. The role of the Database Specialist is rooted in support, multitasking, adaptability to changing responsibilities, and the initiative to expand the depth of job-based knowledge.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Advancement, the Database Specialist will provide assistance with all fundraising campaigns as well as events. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and excellent computer skills. They will be able to work both independently and collaboratively with an internal team and with all members of the community, including faculty, staff, vendors, and parents. Exhibiting a “can do” attitude, the Database Specialist will convey our school culture of warmth and inclusivity.

Middle School Spanish Long Term Substitute Teacher for Spring 2023
Community School of Naples, an independent, college preparatory school, is currently seeking a Middle School Spanish Substitute Teacher for a long-term assignment, starting March 13, 2023 through the end of the school year on May 25, 2023. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree preferred) and at least two years of teaching Spanish at the middle school level. Experience teaching in the target language at least 90% of the time and using ACTFL proficiency standards, along with proficiency-based assessments are preferred.
Teaching responsibilities will include middle school Spanish language courses with an average class size of approximately 8-15 students. Duties include lunch coverage on a rotating schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work in a proficiency-based environment where focus on studentcreated communication of language is built through a well-articulated curriculum. Engineering & Computer Science Teacher
Position Overview:
Community School of Naples is seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher to join our Middle & Upper School faculty as a lead instructor for computer science, VEX Robotics, and makerspace-engineering programs. Inquiry, problem-solving, and the engineering design process are at the heart of our curriculum, spanning a range of classes such as Introduction to Engineering; Inventors Workshop; Product Design; Wearable Electronics, Game Design (Unity & Minecraft); AI & Machine Learning; Cybersecurity; Robotics; and AP Computer Science.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Three years of teaching or equivalent career experience is desired.

Human Resources Manager
Community School of Naples is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to start as soon as possible. As Southwest Florida’s premier independent school, CSN has an enrollment of 1000 students and approximately 275 regular, seasonal and casual employees. Our 77-acre campus features many new buildings and state of the art amenities.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Management, or closely related field. Additionally, 5 years of recent experience in a managerial HR position, 5 years as a Human Resources Generalist, or equivalent experience is required. Also required is current HR professional certification from either HRCI or SHRM .
The qualities of the Human Resources Manager include; excellent listening and critical thinking skills, integrity and awareness of ethical responsibilities, and big picture vision along with attention to detail. US Fine Arts Teacher - Part Time, August 2023
Community School of Naples, an independent, college preparatory school, is currently seeking a motivated and talented Upper School (grades 9-12) Fine Art Teacher to complement our current teacher and teach either Digital Art and Photography or Drawing and Painting or possibly 3D art. This part-time position would teach 2-3 classes a day, with the average class size approximately 12-14 students.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in art, art education, or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of teaching experience. In order to support our talented artists outside of the classroom, experience with hosting or participating in art shows, demonstrations, and/or competitions is preferred. Athletic Fields Tech
Community School of Naples, an independent, college preparatory school, is currently seeking an Athletic Fields Technician. CSN has a beautifully landscaped 77-acre campus with many athletic and practice fields, including the new John N. Allen All Sports Stadium with sustainable turf. The Athletic Fields Technician will perform the day-to-day, hands-on maintenance of our athletic fields.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute maintenance of athletic fields, natural grass and synthetic surfaces, and common areas with regards to safety, playability, and aesthetics.
- Perform outdoor tasks including mowing, edging, and painting field lines.
- Assist the Facilities Department with maintenance of field facilities.
- Follow all safety procedures including OSHA requirements set forth by supervisor.
- Must speak, understand and read English.
This full time, year-round position may include seasonal schedule variations, including occasional weekends, based on the monitoring needs of various systems, including irrigation and pumping systems.

School Bus Drivers - On Call
Community School of Naples is currently seeking qualified School Bus Drivers for on-call driving assignments. All drivers report to the Facilities Manager.
The pay rate is $19 to $22 per hour depending on the assignment and qualifications. All positions require a CDL with the P and S endorsements as well as Air Brakes. Experience driving school busses is preferred, but experience driving passenger busses will be considered if your school bus endorsement is current.
CSN is not able to provide assistance with acquisition of required licensing but will pay for required medical certification, background checks/fingerprinting and drug testing.
The On-Call drivers are used to fill in when scheduling is heavy or when a regular driver is away from work. Various times during athletic seasons can get quite busy. Some weeks you may be called in for half days or up to 5 days per week. Some weeks there may be no calls for work. There is no guarantee of hours. Part time benefits apply.
Fingerprinting, criminal record checks, driving record checks and DOT pre-employment physical are required, as well as pre-employment and random, drug testing.

Requirements
Although we welcome inquiries throughout the year, typically instructional vacancies are identified in late winter and posted on this website. A few requisite qualifications for faculty appointments are:
- Teachers are required to hold at least a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally-accredited institution of higher learning, with a majority of coursework in the subject they wish to teach.
- Transcripts from all degree programs will be requested as part of the hiring process.
- Previous teaching experience is expected, but can be supplemented by advanced degrees, overseas or college-level teaching experience. All applicable experience will need to be verifiable through the associated organizations.
- A demonstrated record of civic-mindedness, professionalism and integrity is essential. As such, CSN requires all employees, including substitute teachers and coaches, to undergo a thorough background check prior to employment. This background check is a criminal records check, in addition to reference and employment verification.
