The Campaign for Excellence

Dear Friends of CSN,

I am thrilled to announce the launch of our capital initiative, Vision 2020: The Campaign for Excellence. This campaign will directly impact the daily lives of all of our current students, and will be transformative for our schools future.

Vision 2020 will be centered on providing increased quality of experience for all students, in terms of physical facilities, opportunities beyond the classroom, 21st century learning approaches and, most importantly, caliber of classroom practice from a dedicated and knowledgeable team of teachers across all grade levels.

Vision 2020 will last for four years, from January 2016 to January 2020. Our goal during this period, will be to attain mission-driven excellence in all we do here at school. It is our express aim to have every CSN student feel the benefit of the campaign, as the proposed improvements sweep across campus over the next four years. We intend to focus on the following six areas as a priority:

  • The Fund for Faculty Excellence
  • The Student Center
  • Endowment and Financial Aid
  • The Lower School
  • Technology
  • Arts and Athletics

At CSN, we are fortunate to have benefited from the generosity of those that have contributed in the past. With our schools’ incredible success, since it’s relatively recent founding, we are now in a position to rise even faster than many thought possible. With major physical changes on this campus, in concert with some elements less obvious, such as building a robust endowment, Vision 2020 will further cement CSN onto the list of great private schools nationwide.

I invite you to take a look at the following pages and consider how best you can help us achieve the goal of Vision 2020: The Campaign for Excellence.  Ben Pastor, our Director of Advancement, and I are ready to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you so much in advance for your generous support!

Kind Regards,

Dr. David Watson
