Angel Fund
CSN believes that providing financial assistance to
qualified students is consistent with the overall school mission and that it
enhances our ability to enroll deserving students who might not otherwise be
able to attend.
CSN assigns highest priority to recruiting and retaining a
talented and diverse student population, who add a personal dimension and
academic enrichment to all that we do as a school. CSN’s future vision is to
establish a financial aid endowment that will enable the school to expand
support for the increasing number of students who are eligible for financial
aid. CSN continues to expand educational opportunities for future generations
of deserving students through annual and endowed sources because academic
excellence and socioeconomic diversity add significantly to the intellectual
and social vitality of the school.
The Angel Fund is comprised of two funding sources for the
financial aid program: our signature gala event, The Angel Ball and the direct support of
a student through the school’s Angel Program.
The Angel Program
The Angel Program supports an array of students – some who
have lost parents, others who are bright and gifted individuals from
disadvantaged backgrounds. CSN seeks out students with unique talents and keen
intellect. These are the types of students who flourish under the supportive
and challenging instruction of the acclaimed CSN faculty. Money for these
tuitions is solicited from referred to as “Angels.” Most Angels provide a
multi-year commitment depending on the grade level of the Angel recipient, but
any size gift is welcomed and appreciated. Angel gifts provided to a student
the school has recruited are tax-deductible.
