Letter from the Director

Welcome to Seahawk Athletics! Athletics is where the Community School’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom.  After the last class of the day, our students have the opportunity to become involved in a broad range of interscholastic athletics.  We offer 13 sports and 37 teams for students in grades 6 through 12.  In these 37 teams, we measure success by hard work and dedication from every team member.  Our seasoned, committed coaching staff is the backbone of the athletic department.  Staff experience, knowledge and passion promotes an environment where student-athletes’ continue the growth encouraged in the classroom.  We strive to support every student-athlete through a positive experience that encourages lifelong participation in sports. 

As a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and Sunshine Athletic Conference, Seahawk teams compete at the Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels.  For the 2009-2010 season, our student-athletes’ and coaches’ hard work paid off when we were named 3^rd in the Sunshine Cup All-Sport Standings for Class 2A Private schools in the state of Florida.  This distinction is awarded by the FHSAA and is determined by a school’s overall success of interscholastic teams.

As our athletic program continues to grow, we look for your support and hope you’ll be donning Seahawk Blue and cheering for our student-athletes!
